Tranfer recipes from one cookbook to another

If you want to transfer recipes from one cookbook to another, you can do so by using the Recipe Transfer Tool.  Go to Cookbook and Account Info Center and click on the link for "More Cookbooks" or under the Editor Activities Menu>Multi-book Dashboard. You will find the link at the end of the top paragraph. This tool offers step by step instructions on how to copy your recipes to the new cookbook.

I have simplified the directions here:

How to transfer recipes from one cookbook project to another cookbook project

In the Recipe Center of your Quick Start menu, you will see an option for “Transfer recipes from another Family Cookbook Project cookbook”.  Click that link.

Start by logging in to the account that the recipes are coming from. Under the headline “FROM” you will see a list of cookbooks in your account. You can click on the title to get the username and password. If the cookbook is in another account, you need to manually enter the username and password from that account. Click on the button “Confirm and Get Recipes”. You should get the message "SOURCE GOOD".

Next, enter the username and password of the cookbook receiving the recipes in the “TO” section, just like the FROM sign in. If successful, the “RED LIGHT” indicator will turn to “GREEN LIGHT”.

Now the recipes will show in the box. Select the recipes you want to move by clicking on them. If you are moving more than one recipe, hold down the Control (CTRL) on your keyboard (Apple key on a MAC) when clicking.

Finally, click on the “Copy Recipes Now” button and your recipes will move to the new cookbook.
