Family Cookbook Project is designed to be very flexible on how recipes are added. The vast majority of recipes are added using the "Add a recipe" form in the Recipe section.
You can type the info or cut and paste it from another document or webpage.
We also offer a tool that will import recipes automatically from other popular recipe websites. However this does not always work because other sites are changing all of the time (just like we are). You will find a link to this Import Recipe Tool in the Recipe Center as well.
