To enter ingredients, always type them one after another in the ingredients box:
1 Egg
1 Cup flour
1 Tsp salt
To select either single column or double column layout for your ingredients in the printed cookbook, go to Editor Tools>Book Options and Design. Scroll to Recipe Layouts and select a one or two column format and save.
